全球卫星定位系统，GLOBLE POSITIONING SYSTEM-GPS，广泛应用于
军事，交通，探测，通信各领域。他将使人们的生活产生新的革命。
与大家切磋一些关于GPS的知识，下文是为了省时间是用英文写的，
GPS recivers are manufacturered mainly by servral company
they are trimble,motorola, garme and novati. ( Maybe some
are not correct). They all obey the standard data format:
NMEA format. But each company also have its own data
flow format. It depends on the diffirent GPS board.
Each GPS receiver have a serial com port. You can input
command in certain format: schu as for Motorola product-@@PS 8.
Then the receiver will return the three dimensional position
to you from the com port. There are also many other command
such as to get the time and status of the satellite. It will
be very convinent to get the geography data if you have a receiver
board. Just use 8051 or Computer you can control it. Normally,
the price of the receiver board is from 1000 to 1500 yuan RMB.
You can buy from those company's agency. Scuh as Motorola, they
can provide you with the purchasing information. Or there are
many company in beijing sells this kind of product. The price
dropping dramticall in these days. It may be muchs cheaper now.
The motorola 's product is good. But if you want to get very
accurate data , you shhould buy the novati , it is much more bigger
and experncive. The MOTOROAL board is like your telephone card,
but much thicker. But the Novati is like a book, and worth about
90,000 yuan RMB.
