  从现在开始，大家基本上就应该开始准备收集国外的高校的信息了，因为从大致九月份开
始一些高校的admission信息就要开始公布了，而且这个时候会有各种各样的关于针对外国
学生的奖学金的信息。最好的方法就是上各个国家的大学的网站去了解最权威的信息。
  今天在日本一桥大学的网站上就偶然看到了这样一个关于07年奖学金的信息。以前我在台
湾东吴大学的网站上曾经看到过对日本大学法学院的排名，一桥好多年都是排在第一位的。
我们学院的彭勃博士就是毕业于这个学校的。
  另外韩国的SKY（三所最一流大学的首字母简称）也有不少的奖学金项目。
  当然这些都要求大家有日文和韩文基础。
  我去年参加JESSUP比赛时认识的一个美国JESSUP负责人Michael Peil现在去了美国的
Washington University in St. Louis.法学院当副院长，他上个月跟我联系过让我帮他介
绍他们学院的LLM项目给我们的法学院的学生，他已经从美国给我寄来相关的资料，我收到
后就会想办法交给学院的老师，希望能够给大家一些帮助。

Application to the Graduate School of Hitotsubashi University as a Japanese
Government (MEXT) Scholarship Student
In order to apply for the graduate program at Hitotusbashi University as a MEXT
scholarship student for the 2007 academic year, you need to be selected as a
preliminary candidate by the Japanese Embassy / Consulate General in your
country. Submit your completed application form and supporting documents by
registered express mail (e.g. EMS, DHL), and make sure to meet the deadline.
Please keep in mind that we do not issue a“Letter of Acceptance”.

Application Form to Hitotsubashi University as a MEXT Scholarship Student

Japanese Language Proficiency Evaluation Form B (PDF:22KB) (Have your Japanese
language teacher or instructor to evaluate your Japanese language proficiency.)
A set of the photocopies of the documents as those submitted to the Japanese
Embassy/Consulate General (description of educational background, certified
academic records of the university attended, letter of recommendation from the
university attended, and description of the field of study and study program,
etc.)
The Certificate of the Preliminary Selection Issued by the Japanese
Embassy/Consulate General. A photocopy is acceptable only if an explanation is
attached to the copy as to why the original cannot be sent.

Please send the completed application form and supporting documents to the
graduate school you are applying for.

Graduate School of Commerce and Management, Graduate School of Economics,

【First Deadline】
Application Deadline: All the completed application form and supporting
documents must arrive at Hitotsubashi University no later than Thursday, July
20th, 2006.

Notification of Screening Results: Between Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 and
Tuesday, August 15th, 2006. Graduate Schools will send a notification of
screening results to eachl applicant by postal mail.

Announcement of Screening Results: On Tuesday, August 15th, 2006, the screening
results will be posted on the Student Exchange Division's website.

【Second Deadline】
**Acceptable applicants are limited.For those applicants who meet the following
conditions only:

a. Preliminary selection at the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General is made in
your country before the first due date of our university above, but the
announcement of successful applicants is made after the due date.

b. Preliminary selection at the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General is made in
your country after the first due date of our university above, and those
applicants pass the selection.

Application Deadline: All the completed application form and supporting
documents must arrive at Hitotsubashi University no later than Thursday, August
31st, 2006.

Notification of Screening Results: Between Wednesday, September 20th, 2006, and
Wednesday, September 27th, 2006, Graduate Schools send a notification of
screening results to eachl applicant by postal mail.

Announcement of Screening Results: On Wednesday, September 27th, 2006, the
screening results will be posted on the Student Exchange Division's website.
