Why SNP (Secure Network Protocol):
使用 sniffit 这类的软体，可有效的窃听同一子网域上其它主机的
种种连线资料，如 telnet、ftp、mail.... 等，也可现场转播 Talk
的画面... 蛮好用的 :Q
使用 SNP，可有效改善上述的状况，通讯全程加密，让有心监听者只
收到一堆乱码，SNP 0.70 只对 telent、ftp、rlogin 作预防，mail
的保密可使用 PGP。
更新版本的 snp:
ftp://freebsd.csie.nctu.edu.tw/pub/jdli/binary/snp/
安装方式请自行参考软体内附的文件。
Step 0
cd /etc; vi hosts 加入
140.113.235.250 freebsd.csie.nctu.edu.tw csiebsd
140.112.19.123 freebsd.ee.ntu.edu.tw eebsd
cd /; mkdir csiebsd eebsd
showmount -e csiebsd
mount csiebsd:/MNT/ccd0c/FreeBSD /csiebsd
mount eebsd:/home/ftp/freebsd /eebsd
Step 1
cd /; tar xvfz /eebsd/woju/binary/snp.tgz
cd /etc;
mv services 0services;
mv inetd.conf 0inetd.conf
mv syslog.conf 0syslog.conf
mv newsyslog.conf 0newsyslog.conf
cd /eebsd/woju/etc
cp services inetd.conf syslog.conf newsyslog.conf /etc
(pkg_add /csiebsd/pub/packages-2.2/All/pidentd-2.7.4.tgz)
(pkg_add /csiebsd/pub/packages-2.2/All/sudo-1.5.3.tgz)
cd /var/log; touch snp.log sudo.log all; chmod og= snp.log sudo.log all
kill -HUP `cat /var/run/syslog.pid`
kill -HUP `cat /var/run/inetd`
Step 2
astool -mc (通常一直按 Enter 即可)
astool -init
Step 3
在 /etc/rc.local □加入
/usr/local/snp/libexec/pas -m
/usr/local/snp/libexec/Ptelnetd
Step 4
/usr/loca/snp/libexec/pas -m
/usr/loca/snp/libexec/Ptelnetd
astool -au <userid> 为 <userid> 新增 SNP account
astool -sp <userid> 为 <userid> 设定密码
Step 5
ptelnet localhost
若有问题可看一下 /var/log/snp.log (或 all)
