To write a service for Windows NT your can use SDK/DDK.
If your are using MS Visual C++ it can be done more ease :
In order to generate Service Project you can use ATL COM AtlWizard and in
a dialog box which will appear in "Server Type" group box select the
"Sevice (Exe)" item.After this, if you consult atl help you will do what
you want.

I posted a message before about a problem I'm having with OnCtlColor. I
cannot seem to change the text color of disabled controls.
I am making this as easy as possible. I tried to turn everything on a
form blue with the following code...
HBRUSH CAd32CustView::OnCtlColor(CDC* pDC, CWnd* pWnd, UINT nCtlColor)
{
HBRUSH hbr = CFormView::OnCtlColor(pDC, pWnd, nCtlColor);
pDC->SetTextColor(RGB(0, 0, 255)); // blue
return hbr;
}
All the text DID turn blue - EXCEPT the text in the disabled controls.
Someone suggested I had to use CTLCOLOR_STATIC for disabled controls...
but I've even removed the comparison of nCtlColor.
Can anyone help?
