Frequently Asked Questions
Is there are version of SoftICE that runs on a multiprocess or
machine?
Yes, SoftICE version 3.2 provides full support for symetric
multiprocessor machines. You will not need to disable any CPUs if you
are using SoftICE version 3.2. If you have SoftICE version 3.0x, you can
run SoftICE on an SMP machine, but you must disable all but one cpu
in the boot.ini file. This is documented thoroughly in the readme file.
