调整前的建议
l 不要通过用msconfig来禁用某些服务，而是在运行中输入Services.msc来调整。
l 在禁用任何服务之前，先通过选择一个服务，然后察看所显示的该服务的相关信
息。
l 如果想要尝试一些更简单的方法创建和调整多个服务，可以察看Windows XP
Services Profile Guide。
l 如果想更简单的应用这些调整，可以察看Windows XP Services Registry Patch
Guide。
l 根据你的设置，如果一个服务的启动类型被设置为手动，它就不会在系统启动后
自动运行了。如果你发现这样的做法使你感到不方便，完全可以设置相关的服务启
动类型为自动。
l 在每一次调整了你的服务设置后，最好重新启动一下电脑。
l 如果你没有下文中提到的某些服务，也不用担心。因为某些服务只有在特定的状
态下或者你安装了某些软硬件之后才会出现。

l 通过禁用次要的服务，可以帮助你节省12-70MB的内存空间，这也取决于你的系
统。
l 你有没有这样考虑过，下面的89个服务中，有36个默认是自动启动的，但是，实
际上，我们可以只保留8个！
表头的含义
l 名称：在服务配置面板中，每项服务显示的名称。
l 服务名：服务的“简称”，并且也是在注册表中显示的名称。
l 进程名：启动这个服务后在后台运行的进程的名称（可以通过任务管理器看到）
。
l 依存关系：该服务依赖的其他服务以及其他依赖该服务的服务。
l Home默认：Bill Gates认为这个服务在Windows XP Home版下默认的运行状态
l Pro默认：Bill Gates认为这个服务在Windows XP Professional版下默认的运行
状态。
l 安全状态：为了保证系统的稳定，大部分人应该确定服务处在该状态下。
l 网关设置：如果你的电脑是作为网关运行的，那么对于每项服务，最好按照这里
的说明来调整。
l 游戏设置：如果你的电脑主要用来玩游戏，那么为了达到最佳性能，最好按照这
里的方案来调整。
l 超级用户：作为水平较高的用户，自然希望电脑的性能得到最大程度的挖掘了，
那么你可以按照这里的方案来调整你的服务。
